What started as a fairly straightforward offseason transaction has quickly turned into one of the most chaotic games of musical chairs in Call of Duty League history. Early rumors linked both Thomas "Scrap" Ernst and Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez to Gentlemates, before massive financial rumblings from the Riyadh Falcons threatened to blow the market wide open. Rumors even had them staying put at LA Thieves - with potential aBeZy involvement.

Then, everything got put on hold!

Enter FaZe Vegas.

Apparently, simply maintaining a championship-caliber core isn't enough. In a blindside move that’s sending shockwaves through the CDL ecosystem, FaZe reopened high-level negotiations, swooping in with a massive offer designed to pair Scrap and HyDra alongside Chris "Simp" Andrews and Zack "Drazah" Jordan. By offering a direct path to an immediate ring under an established championship infrastructure, FaZe effectively disrupted LAT's plans right as Scrap's agency transition window cleared.

If this jaw-dropping shift crosses the finish line, it fundamentally reshapes the entire competitive landscape for the upcoming season. Combining two season MVPs with Simp creates what is indisputably the most terrifying "on-paper" superteam in CDL history—while simultaneously stranding LAT without their intended crown jewels and forcing the rest of the league to scramble for remaining free-agent “scraps”.

(Pun intended.)
